MEET MAEVE HEALY – ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY AT BROOKS LAW

Maeve Healy is a compassionate and driven immigration attorney at Brooks Law, where she leads the firm’s Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) department. With a strong foundation in advocacy and a deep commitment to vulnerable youth, Maeve plays a critical role in helping immigrant children secure lawful status and stability in the United States.

Originally from Massachusetts, Maeve graduated from UMass Amherst in 2019 with a dual major in Communications and Studio Arts — a combination that reflects both her strong voice as an advocate and her creative, client-focused approach. She earned her J.D. from UMass Dartmouth – University of Massachusetts School of Law in 2022, where she developed a reputation for diligence, empathy, and leadership. During law school, Maeve served as secretary of the Environmental Law Society, an experience that sharpened her organizational skills and deepened her commitment to using the law as a tool for justice.

At Brooks Law, Maeve has become a central figure in the firm’s immigration team, now managing the SIJ practice — a critical area of immigration law designed to protect undocumented minors who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. She oversees case strategy, works closely with family and probate courts, and guides minors and their guardians through the complex SIJ process with sensitivity and care. Her ability to navigate both the legal and emotional dimensions of these cases makes her an invaluable advocate for children facing uncertain futures.

Maeve is known among her clients for her calm presence, thorough preparation, and unwavering dedication to every case. Whether she’s in the courtroom or the office, her focus remains the same: to give young immigrants a voice, a path to safety, and the chance to thrive.

Outside of her legal work, Maeve enjoys spending time at the beach and taking care of her beloved Australian Shepherd, Marley. Her appreciation for the outdoors and her nurturing spirit mirror the grounded and thoughtful way she approaches her work.

Maeve’s leadership of the SIJ department reflects her commitment to justice, protection, and hope for the next generation — values at the core of Brooks Law’s mission
