MEET VERONICA SILVA – PARALEGAL

VERONICA SILVA

Veronica Rocha da Costa Silva is a Paralegal at Brooks Law Firm, where she supports clients throughout their legal journey by managing case information, organizing documentation, and helping ensure each case progresses efficiently. With a strong commitment to clear communication and careful case management, Veronica works behind the scenes to provide clients with the support they need during challenging moments.

Veronica is driven by the opportunity to help people navigate difficult situations with confidence and clarity. Her academic background in International Law inspired her to build a career in cross-border legal practice, where she could apply her knowledge to matters that have a meaningful impact on individuals and families. She enjoys being part of a team dedicated to making the legal process more accessible and less overwhelming for clients.

Her legal background includes specialization in International Private Law, European Union Law, and International Agreements. Before joining Brooks Law, Veronica taught at Eötvös Loránd University, where she received her faculty’s Best Teacher Award for four consecutive semesters—an achievement that reflects both her expertise and her passion for helping others learn and succeed.

One of the most memorable moments in her legal career was securing an emergency court order that allowed a medical student to enroll in university before the case was fully resolved, giving the student the opportunity to continue pursuing their education while the legal matter progressed.

Guided by the Hungarian saying “Valamit valamiért”“something for something”—Veronica believes that every opportunity comes with responsibility, dedication, and hard work. She approaches every client relationship with empathy, professionalism, and transparent communication.

Outside of work, Veronica enjoys reading, spending time with her family, playing a variety of musical instruments, and performing music. Colleagues are often surprised to learn that she has sung in symphonic choirs and has a particular appreciation for medieval and Baroque music.
