VITORIA GUIMARAES – Partner & Head Of Personal Injury And Workers’ Compensation

Vitoria Pimenta is a Partner at Brooks Law and the Head of both the Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation departments, where she oversees two of the firm’s largest and most impactful practice areas. With more than a decade of legal experience, Vitoria leads with a rare combination of strategic insight, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to client advocacy.
Born in Brasília and raised in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Vitoria earned her degree in Public Relations before immigrating to the United States. Her legal journey began at Brooks Law in 2015 — not as an attorney, but at the front desk. It was there, in direct contact with the firm’s immigrant clients, that she discovered her calling: to become a powerful legal voice for communities that are too often overlooked or underserved.
Determined to make a meaningful impact, Vitoria pursued her legal education while gaining hands-on experience, including two years at an immigration law firm. She earned her J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2022 and is now licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Connecticut.
After returning to Brooks Law in 2023, Vitoria took on the leadership of the Workers’ Compensation department. Recognizing her exceptional case management and leadership skills, she was soon appointed Head of the Personal Injury department as well — making her responsible for overseeing all PI and WC operations, staff attorneys, paralegals, and litigation strategy. Her dual leadership role requires not only legal acumen but also the ability to coordinate multi-departmental workflows, ensure client-centered results, and uphold the firm’s high standard of care across hundreds of active cases.
Vitoria is known for being hands-on with her teams, mentoring attorneys, fine-tuning systems, and continuously finding ways to elevate both client outcomes and staff performance. She remains actively involved in litigation, guiding complex cases through settlement or trial while balancing her broader responsibilities as a department head and firm partner.
Her mission is clear: “My goal is to give immigrants a voice, work tirelessly for our clients to ensure they receive all the rights they deserve, and foster strong relationships within the community.” Vitoria’s leadership reflects the heart of Brooks Law’s values — relentless advocacy, compassionate service, and meaningful connection to the communities it serves.
