Thuanny Betina Machado Weis is a Personal Injury Legal Assistant at Brooks Law, where she supports attorneys and paralegals by managing communication with insurance companies and helping clients navigate the claims process. She plays an important role in ensuring that every client receives organized, timely, and compassionate support during a difficult time in their lives.

Thuanny was inspired to pursue this career path by her passion for helping people understand their rights and advocating for what they are entitled to. What she enjoys most about working at Brooks Law is the strong sense of teamwork and collaboration, along with the opportunity to guide clients as they pursue justice and healing.

A major milestone in her professional journey has been starting law school, something she considers a dream come true. Guided by the principle “Do your best and God will do the rest,” Thuanny brings dedication, faith, and integrity to every task she takes on.

Her colleagues may be surprised to learn that she spent a year and a half as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. George, Utah. After returning home, she continued serving others by teaching English—something she still does for one student outside her work schedule.

When she’s not working, Thuanny enjoys studying for college, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Although she is early in her legal career, she has already developed a strong interest in immigration law and looks forward to discovering where her studies will take her.

Thuanny approaches client relationships with respect, kindness, and patience, recognizing that many of the firm’s clients are going through extremely challenging moments. Her advice to others is simple but empowering: you always have rights, and you should feel confident advocating for them when necessary.
