Rafael has been a valued member of Brooks Law Firm for 4 years. He initially joined through a third-party contractor, Legal Soft, but after just two months, Arinda personally invited him to join the firm directly. Since then, Rafael has proudly been part of the BLF family.

He specializes in Social Security, Workers Compensation, and Intake, bringing hands-on experience and dedication to supporting clients through complex legal processes. Before joining BLF, Rafael worked as a Spanish-English interpreter at LionBridge.

What motivates Rafael most is his desire to help people navigate stressful and often confusing legal cases. He finds fulfillment in seeing the positive impact his work has on clients—whether helping them win claims or guiding them through paperwork to bring stability to their lives.

Rafael supports clients and colleagues alike by persistently following up with agencies like the SSA and insurers, always making himself available to assist his team when needed. His key strengths include being highly organized, resourceful, and resilient under pressure, with a strong commitment to quality work.

Outside of work, Rafael is an avid FPV drone pilot who builds, customizes, and flies drones, often capturing cinematic footage he edits himself. He also enjoys woodworking, having built most of the furniture in his home and office/gaming room. He is passionate about gaming and spending time outdoors with his family.

A unique fact about Rafael is that he designed and handcrafted a custom LED light desk with hidden drawers and RGB lighting, which serves as a gaming and office space for him and his son. He is working toward turning his drone hobby into a professional career.
