Michele joined Brooks Law in January 2025 as an immigration paralegal, bringing with her over a decade of legal and administrative experience from Brazil. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Law and is licensed to practice law in Brazil. Since relocating to the United States, she has been focused on building her legal career within the U.S. system—especially in immigration and asylum procedures.

Before transitioning into law, Michele spent more than 11 years in administrative and immigration relocation roles, including work with a Chinese telecommunications company. She later practiced as a civil litigation attorney in Brazil before moving to the U.S., where she worked in customer-facing roles that strengthened her communication and client service skills.

At Brooks Law, Michele supports attorneys and clients by ensuring documents are accurate, deadlines are met, and legal processes are clearly communicated. Her strengths include legal research, organization, and the ability to manage complex tasks calmly and efficiently.

Fun fact: Outside of work, Michele enjoys movies, reading, and diving into topics like spirituality, philosophy, and history.
