Originally from Brazil, Mariana joined Brooks Law Firm in 2021 as a paralegal on the Workers’ Compensation team. For two years, she supported attorneys with case management, legal research, and client communication. Eager to take on new challenges, Mariana transitioned to the Intake Team, where she now works closely with potential clients, helping evaluate new cases and ensuring each person’s story is heard from the very first call.

Mariana holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and History and a Master’s in History. Her academic and professional background have equipped her with strong research, communication, and interpersonal skills, making her a compassionate and effective first point of contact for clients.

Prior to joining BLF, she worked as both a teacher and in customer service roles—experiences that helped shape her ability to connect with people and manage high-pressure situations with clarity and empathy.

Outside of work, Mariana enjoys yoga, ballet, and reading. A fun fact? She lived in Ireland for eight years, where she earned her undergraduate degree and developed a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and new perspectives.
