Michelli Getchell serves as a Business Development Representative at Brooks Law, where she brings a decade of legal experience and a sharp understanding of client needs to every consultation. Originally from Brazil and formerly licensed as an attorney there, Michelli moved to the United States in 2012 and began her journey with Brooks Law in 2018.

Having worked across multiple departments—including front desk, workers’ compensation, personal injury, and immigration—Michelli possesses a rare, comprehensive knowledge of the legal intake and case process. This extensive background allows her to provide prospective clients with not only empathy and reassurance, but also precise, informed guidance as they begin their legal journey.

In her current role, Michelli leads by example. She conducts strategic consultations with potential clients, identifies legal solutions, and collaborates closely with attorneys and staff to ensure each case gets the focused attention it deserves. Her fluency in Portuguese and Spanish strengthens the firm’s connection to immigrant communities, and her communication style—clear, warm, and honest—helps clients feel understood and supported from the first interaction.

Michelli is also a mentor within the BDR team, known for her collaborative spirit, professionalism, and deep dedication to Brooks Law’s mission of client-centered advocacy. She thrives in the firm’s dynamic, growth-oriented environment and takes pride in helping people find clarity during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Outside of work, Michelli loves spending time with her daughter, her mom, and her husband. Her sense of humor and grounded personality make her not only a strong team player, but a favorite among clients and colleagues alike.
