Sofía Monzón, known as Sofi, has been working as a Workers’ Compensation paralegal since August 2024. With a background in economics, she brings strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to her legal support work. Though she has not completed formal paralegal certifications, her experience and attention to detail allow her to effectively prepare and manage claims that make a real difference for clients.

Before joining the legal field, Sofi worked in customer service at Metlife Dental, where she helped clients with questions and issues related to their dental policies. This experience enhanced her communication skills and ability to support people through stressful situations.

Sofi is motivated by her passion for helping others, especially within the Latino community, where many immigrants may feel uncertain about their rights. She finds it rewarding to empower clients by making sure they feel heard, supported, and confident during difficult workers’ compensation claims.

In her role, Sofi supports clients by clarifying complex processes and reassuring them through every step of their case. She also helps colleagues stay organized and efficient, providing reliable assistance during busy times.
