Ana Beatriz Goncalves Patriota, known as Bia, joined Brooks Law in January 2025. She is part of the Immigration Department, where she primarily focuses on asylum cases. Bia has developed experience in preparing I-589 forms and EAD packets, contributing to a smoother process for clients seeking protection and stability.

Before joining Brooks Law, Bia worked in Human Resources as an Administrative Assistant, handling hiring processes, payroll, and employee support. She also gained valuable experience in client engagement through freelance event promotion and previously worked as a Pilates instructor after graduating in Physical Therapy.

Bia is motivated by a genuine desire to help immigrants, especially those facing the many challenges she understands firsthand. She finds meaning in contributing to each client’s journey and is proud to play a role—however small—in helping people build better lives.

Known for her calm and empathetic communication style, Bia supports clients by listening, answering questions, and providing reassurance. She’s also a dependable teammate, always ready to assist with applications, translations, or urgent needs.

Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies and series, reading romance novels, traveling, going out with friends and her boyfriend, and walking her dog.
