MEET MARIA CERRILLO – Chief Sales Officer

Maria Cerrillo is the Chief Sales Officer at Brooks Law Firm, where she brings together her diverse background in legal services, sales, and digital marketing to drive the firm’s growth and business development. Born in Boston and raised in Cancún, Mexico by a Brazilian mother and Mexican father, Maria returned to the U.S. in 2021 with a unique multicultural perspective and trilingual fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Maria began her journey at Brooks Law Firm in 2021 as a front desk coordinator and quickly advanced to the role of immigration paralegal, where she worked closely with clients and attorneys for over three years. She also served as a Business Development Representative in the legal sales department and later as the firm’s Marketing Coordinator, developing a deep understanding of intake, conversion, client experience, and campaign strategy.

Now, as Chief Sales Officer, Maria leads the firm’s sales strategy and business development efforts, leveraging her firsthand knowledge of the legal process, client communication, and marketing to drive growth and strengthen the firm’s market position. Her path to this role reflects a steady progression built on results — from front desk to paralegal, from sales to marketing, and now to firm leadership.

Her approach to sales and growth is rooted in data, empathy, and innovation — always with an eye on expanding the firm’s reach and impact.

Outside of work, Maria loves staying active — especially biking or hiking with her daughter. She’s passionate about wellness, community, and cultural representation, and takes pride in being part of a law firm that advocates for immigrant families like her own.
