Matthew Gonnella

The son of a single mother of four children from Syracuse, New York, Matthew Gonnella focuses his practice on representing immigrants and refugees in asylum, special immigrant juvenile, crime victims (U-Visa), and human trafficking cases (T-Visa). Gonnella also represents people in family based immigration such as marriage petitions, naturalization applications, and waivers.
Attorney Gonnella graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2015 with a dual Bachelors in International Relations and Spanish and a French Minor and was a four year member of the school’s varsity cross country team. Immediately after graduating from Saint Anselm, Gonnella attended Suffolk University Law School and graduated in 2018. Gonnella was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar the same year.
Gonnella has a demonstrated track record of success representing asylum seekers, special immigrant juveniles, and victims of crimes and human trafficking having secured futures in the United States for dozens of individuals and families. Currently, he represents an individual affected by the Martha’s Vineyard migrant crisis.
