DANIEL PHAIR – Senior Immigration Attorney, Brooks Law

Daniel Phair is the Senior Immigration Attorney at Brooks Law, where he oversees the firm’s removal defense, asylum (both affirmative and defensive), and business-based immigration teams. Known for his strategic approach and deep compassion, Daniel leads with a commitment to delivering justice and clarity in complex immigration cases.
With a strong foundation in both litigation and humanitarian advocacy, Daniel has spent his legal career guiding individuals and families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He was first drawn to immigration law during law school, when he helped reunite a couple who had been separated for two years due to the complications of nationality-based immigration policies. That experience left a lasting impact and solidified his desire to help people navigate an often opaque and overwhelming system.
Among his proudest professional achievements is assisting a promising young writer in his pursuit of permanent residency—believing not only in his legal case but in the future contributions the writer will make to his field. For Daniel, immigration law is about recognizing potential and restoring dignity through lawful presence and protection.
One of the most profound cases of his career involved helping the grandparents of a terminally ill child gain emergency entry into the U.S. so they could spend her final days by her side. It is moments like these that fuel Daniel’s dedication and reinforce the humanity at the heart of his work.
Daniel’s approach to client relationships is collaborative. He emphasizes the importance of understanding each client’s goals and risk tolerance, ensuring that representation reflects their values and priorities—not just legal strategy.
While passionate about removal and asylum work, Daniel also encourages clients to explore employment-based immigration options—an often overlooked path that, with planning, can provide long-term solutions.
Outside the office, Daniel is a licensed pilot and a proud father. Whether skiing, camping, swimming, or coaching youth hockey, he enjoys spending quality time with his kids across all seasons. He’s also known as a night owl, often doing his best legal writing in the quiet hours of the evening.
